Scott Robertson Memorial 14 and Under Boys Acceptance Criteria

The 2011 Scott Robertson Memorial 14 and Under field will consist of app. 24 players from the categories below, including additions, with spots being filled by applicants from these categories in numerical order. Once the field is full (accepting applicants in category 1 first, 2 next, and so on), the applicants from lower categories will not gain entry, unless earning a spot through one of the qualifying rounds. If the cutoff comes in category 3 or 5, ties will be broken by comparing each players overall Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking.

- Top 30 of the NJGS class of 2016
- Top 20 of the NJGS class of 2017
- Top 10 of the NJGS class of 2018

- Top 20 at all 2011 AJGA All-star Events

- Top 100 of the NJGS class of 2015
- Top 75 of the NJGS class of 2016
- Top 50 of the NJGS class of 2017

- The entry committee reserves the right to exempt additional players.
- Winner of Scott Robertson Junior Tour (Roanoke Valley) – 14 & under only
- Top ranked 14 & under player of the Va. Jr. Golf Tour as of the entry deadline.
- Top 14 and under qualifier from US Challenge Cup, New England qualifier
- If there are not enough applicants to fill the field through the entrance criteria, the entrance committee reserves the right to fill the field by other means. This means there could be the addition of a qualifier for the 14 and under boys division. Please check the website for updates concerning this possibility.

Example: |
If 18 players apply from the first 4 categories, all of those applicants will be accepted (this includes additions and any special exemptions granted by the entry committee). If 8 other players have applied from category 5, then 4 of those will be accepted (based on criteria) to reach 24 total. The 4 players in category 5 not chosen will be ranked by the committee as alternates. The remaining applicants will not earn entry. The field size may be reduced if the number of applicants from the 5 categories plus additions is less than 24. |
