In 2004, the Scott Robertson committee transitioned from using excess tournament funds to the scholarship program into using them to begin a First Tee chapter in Roanoke.  In June 2005, the Scott Robertson Memorial helped launch First Tee - Roanoke Valley, which is dedicated to providing young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop, through golf and character education, life-enhancing values such as honesty, integrity and sportsmanship.

Located adjacent to Westside Elementary School and Roanoke Country Club, The Scott Robertson Memorial Junior Golf Academy, home of First Tee - Roanoke Valley, includes a clubhouse, a driving range, a synthetic-turf putting green and a practice bunker area. Look for it to the right of Crabapple #3 & 6!  If you are interested in making a donation, you made do so here.  We are grateful for any and all support!
